Aiming to register Japanese manufacturing and construction technology of clay roof tiles as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage A clay tile boating a history of 1400 years.It is no exaggeration to say that tiles are traditional Japanese cultuer.However,the tile separation continues nationwide,and the popularity shortage of clay roof tile is a problem due to the rise of newly roofing materials. Especially J-shaped tile has important meaning in terms of technology in keeping young craftmen of the future. We grasped this problem seriously and thought that there was a necessity to act for the future of clay roof tile for the next 100 years,and said,"Manufacturing and construction technology of Japanese unique clay roof tile(J-shaped tile)"UNESCO intends to resister intangible cultural heritage.
